This week has been the hardest week of work that I ever had (so far). I had 4 days in a row of softball, men's volleyball, and then an early baseball game.
Softball was pretty good because the game moves quickly. What I didn't know is that after 7 innings they put a runner on second in every inning in order to move the game along. Personally I think that's a little sexist because in baseball when you go into extra innings they still play the game regularly. But that's just an opinion, I have never played baseball so I guess I really wouldn't know. But there were great games nonetheless. One game went 10 innings but it was all worth it to watch one of the players hit a home run in the bottom of the 10th to win it all (see link below)

Volleyball was interesting because on Friday night #11 Hawaii battled #4 BYU in a 5 set showdown with BYU eventually coming out victorious. Their 4th set finished off 36-34. An epic match that was never televised. So surly you would think that the next night (the game that was actually televised) would be another epic match. This was not the case however as BYU swept Hawaii. In the very first set Hawaii lost 25-12.
In baseball UH had a 4 game series with the Dons of the University of San Francisco (USF). By the time we televised their last game UH was already up in the series 2-1. In the top of the 9th, UH was up 3-2, but USF had 2 runners on base with 2 outs. UH was able to get the last batter out as he grounded to first and was able to get the last out. Just like the rest of the series, the game was back and forth all the way to the end
It makes me wonder do all athletes wait for the camera to bring out the best in them? If your reading this and are a former athlete who's been on TV, has knowing that your gonna be on TV ever bothered you?
